AUTOMATION IN THE TISSUE SECTOR
The automation of the end of production in this sector is essential to increase and maintain competitiveness at the highest level.
We have experience supplying solutions for boxing and palletising napkins, rolls of industrial toilet paper or tissues in all their formats.
Below you can see some of the projects we have already carried out.
If you would like more information and to find out about other solutions, please do not hesitate to contact our team.
CASE PACKING AND PALLETISING OF PAPER NAPKINS
The system is capable of forming boxes and filling them with shrink-wrapped packs of napkins using two Fanuc industrial robots.
The first one unfolds the boxes and inserts them into a machine that closes it from the bottom side. Once closed, it brings them closer to the filling area. The second robot takes groups of napkins and inserts them into the formed box.
The robotic cell is also capable of working in Box-Pallet format.
An Artificial Vision system checks each of the introduced packages to check if the orientation is correct, as well as its dimensions and if it has the easy-open label.

CASE PACKING AND PALLETISING OF TISSUE BOXES
Automatic solution that performs the grouping of tissue boxes, the forming of cardboard boxes, their filling and subsequent palletising.
The first robot is dedicated to form the cardboard boxes and place them within reach of the second robot. The second robot takes the bundles of tissue boxes and places them in the boxes.
A belt conveyor takes the boxes to the closer and the subsequent palletising station, where a third robot completes the process, automatically palletising each box.
BOXING OF TISSUE BOXES IN BOX-PALLET
In this project an anthropomorphic robot is used for the unfolding of the box-pallet and its formation. An automatic system picks up the tissue box groupings and another robot is in charge of picking up and placing the groupings inside the box-pallet. In addition, it also places a lid on the full box-pallet.
The set is completed with a user-friendly interface and our remote connection system that will facilitate the resolution of incidents.

CASE PALLETISING
At this end of line, the empty pallets enter the cell via a chain conveyor that is directly below the full pallet discharge conveyor. This greatly reduces the space occupied in the plant.
The palletising robot was owned by our customer and he was able to reuse it after years of use for this application due to its high reliability.

PALLETISING INDUSTRIAL TOILET PAPER ROLLS
The system automatically bundles the toilet paper rolls so that an industrial robot picks up the bundles and palletises them. The complete pallet is then wrapped by a machine that can also place a protective cover and transports it to the pallet pick-up point.

PALLETISING PACKS OF POCKET HANDKERCHIEFS
The system is led by two Kawasaki robots that share two main tasks. The first robot is in charge of dosing the packs and forming a complete layer on a table.
The second robot takes the layers of tissues and inserts them into the Box-Pallet, completing the end of the line.
