AUTOMATION IN THE PAPER AND BOARD SECTOR
The automation of the end of production in this sector is essential to raise and maintain competitiveness at the highest level.
We have experience supplying solutions for boxing and palletising napkins, rolls of industrial toilet paper, tissues in all their formats, rolls of adhesive tape or folded cardboard boxes.
Below you can see some of the projects we have already carried out.

Robotic Banknote Packing.
Imbisa (Imprenta de Billetes SA) has fully automated its end-of-line process with Inser Robótica.
Among other processes, the packing of shrink-wrapped banknote bundles has also been automated. Just before the bundles are grouped by the thousands, the robot checks the barcode of each package. It then places them on a table, and once the grouping is complete, it automatically inserts all the packages into a box.
Before sealing, a machine vision camera ensures that the box is correctly filled, guaranteeing traceability throughout the process.

CASE PACKING AND PALLETISING OF PAPER NAPKINS
The system is capable of forming boxes and filling them with shrink-wrapped packs of napkins using two Fanuc industrial robots.
The first one unfolds the boxes and inserts them into a machine that closes it from the bottom side. Once closed, it brings them closer to the filling area. The second robot takes groups of napkins and inserts them into the formed box.
The robotic cell is also capable of working in Box-Pallet format.
An Artificial Vision system checks each of the introduced packages to check if the orientation is correct, as well as its dimensions and if it has the easy-open label.

CASE PACKING AND PALLETISING OF TISSUE BOXES
Automatic solution that performs the grouping of tissue boxes, the forming of cardboard boxes, their filling and subsequent palletising.
The first robot is dedicated to form the cardboard boxes and place them within reach of the second robot. The second robot takes the bundles of tissue boxes and places them in the boxes.
A belt conveyor takes the boxes to the closer and the subsequent palletising station, where a third robot finishes the process, automatically palletising each box.

BOXING OF TISSUE BOXES IN BOX-PALLET .
In this project an anthropomorphic robot is used for the unfolding of the box-pallet and its formation. An automatic system picks up the tissue box groupings and another robot is in charge of picking up and placing the groupings inside the box-pallet. In addition, it also places a lid on the full box-pallet.
The set is completed with a user-friendly interface and our remote connection system that will facilitate the resolution of incidents.

LOADING OF CASE ERECTORS
Coboloader is our solution for automatic loading of folded boxes into case erectors.
It has loading options with collaborative robots or with industrial robots for high throughput rates.
CASE PALLETISING
At this end of line, the empty pallets enter the cell via a chain conveyor that is just below the full pallet discharge conveyor. This greatly reduces the space occupied in the plant.
The palletising robot was owned by our customer and he was able to reuse it after years of use for this application due to its high reliability.

PALLETISING ROLLS OF ADHESIVE TAPE IN BOX PALLETS
The placement of products inside Box-Pallets means an added effort for the people who do it.
Our client needed a system capable of moving all that production, taking up as little space as possible.
We designed a gripper capable of picking up any type of roll from the hollow inside.
Moreover, its length allows them to be introduced inside the Box-Pallet in a precise and very robust way.

PALLETISING OF FOLDED CARTONS
This automatic palletising solution is capable of handling multiple references of folded and strapped cartons that converge on the same line.
In order to properly palletise all these references, it has a transport and grouping system, a specifically designed gripper and a user-friendly program generation application controlled from the HMI screen.

PALLETISING INDUSTRIAL TOILET PAPER ROLLS
The system automatically bundles the toilet rolls so that an industrial robot picks up the bundles and palletises them. Subsequently the complete pallet is wrapped by a machine capable of placing also a protective cover and transports it to the pallet pick-up point.

PALLETISING PACKS OF POCKET HANDKERCHIEFS
EThe system is led by two Kawasaki robots that share two main tasks. The first robot is in charge of dosing the packs and forming a complete layer on a table.
The second robot takes the layers of tissues and inserts them into the Box-Pallet, completing the end of the line.
